Eastern Lift Services was founded in 2003 by Tony and Mark, after each had spent around 15 years working for a large lift company.

They had seen first-hand the systems, knowledge and engineering capability a larger organisation could provide — but also believed customers should be able to get that experience with a more personal, responsive service.

Eastern started in a small room at the back of a shop.

Rob joined the business, followed by Steve, and both remain valued members of the team today.

In the early years, the company grew by taking on smaller contracts and building a reputation through hard work, reliable service and doing things properly.

Today, Eastern Lift Services works with established organisations across the private and public sectors, supported by an office and field team.

The company has grown, but the principle behind it has stayed the same: combine professional capability with direct, personal service.
